Jenny About ‘ I Will Win Without War’
Parents – what is the role they play in a child’s life?
Is it just providing the necessities and good education for a stable future or something more?
Shouldn’t parents just mustn’t reprimand the kids but also embrace them in their pain and happiness?
This book taught me how parents shouldn’t be. I know and agree that even parents are humans but they also must bear in mind that after bringing a human into the world, their responsibility doesn’t end by just feeding them. It goes beyond that.
The father’s character is not covered and the mother made me feel awful.
Overall, I appreciate the author for not romanticising but bringing out the different colours of humans and their lives through this book.
Shefalli About “I Will Win Without War”
Justice is a complex word. Will the victim ever be able to overcome the pain she went through and lead a normal life?
Will her families be able to reconcile and accept the reality or shrug it under the carpet?
Will the society ever stop blaming the victim?
Sarah somehow is strong. I felt that the way Sarah got justice is unrealistic and will a common man ever get justice for what they faced?
At least, I’m glad that the protagonist got justice in this fictional book. But the author even mentioned the pain even after justice. That’s the reality.
Highly recommended!
Mahi Aggrawal About “I Will Win Without War”
This book gives us a vivid and brutal atrocities committed against young ones in the name of care. I was shaken after I read the book. The protagonist of the book is Sarah. All was going well for her. Rich family, good facilities and good school.
Few instances shook Sarah and she kept her stance by tye inspiring and fiery speeches of tye prime minister. Still nothing could save her from the situation she went through.
She later seeks the help of a shrink but does little help salvage her. I liked the realistic portrayal of the pain Sarah goes through. The reaction of her family and how she fondly misses her grandad.
Suspense and fiction with a tinge of reality.
